Terms and Conditions
Bookings through the website enquiries Contact Form are made manually. Appointment confirmation will be sent by email and tax invoice will be issued for payment by bank transfer within 10 days. All online bookings are paid for in advance and secured at the time of booking using the Acuity Scheduling tool with a credit card. Bookings are confirmed when payment is received and a booking confirmation will be issued to you via the booking system.
All new clients must complete and sign a New Client Intake Form and returned it no less that 2 days in advance of the confirmed scheduled appointment. It is necessary to received this with enough time to review and prepare ahead of your appointment. It is not possible to have a Spinal Flow session without completing the New Client Intake Form, signing the disclaimer and waiver, and undertaking the initial consultation, spinal gateway and posture assessment.
Cancellations: If the Client is unable to keep their appointment, the Client must contact Deep Rest Spinal Flow in writing (email, text or Whatsapp) at least 2 days in advance of the confirmed scheduled appointment, at which time the appointment can be rescheduled. Given a personalised session plan has been developed and agreed with the client at the outset, it is strongly recommended that Client’s prioritise their health and wellbeing and keep their scheduled appointments wherever possible.
No Show: If the client fails to show up to a scheduled appointment (‘no show’), the session is forfeited and non-refundable. All appointments are confirmed in the calendar and it is the Client’s responsibility to ensure they are committed to their session plan for their scheduled appointment. If they are unable to do so, it is their responsibility to reschedule the appointment >48 hours before the confirmed appointment time.
Packages: All sales for 6-session and 12-session packages are final, non-refundable, non-transferrable and must be used in full within 12 weeks (3 months) from the date of the first appointment in the series (not from the date of booking). This is because there may be a short waitlist period before your package series can commence, and to ensure that you are committed to and getting the most benefit out of Spinal Flow. The effects of Spinal Flow are cumulative. It takes a period of time to create a sense of safety in the nervous system and for your body to start to let go of stress, and this is different for every body/Client. While some may find it easier to let go of stress and quieten their busy mind, others may find it take a couple of sessions for their body to start to experience a greater sense of relaxation and peace. For this reason, it is recommended to commit to a package of 6 or 12 sessions in a series, and schedule these initial sessions close together. This higher frequency of sessions in the initial few weeks helps to support the body to work through possible initial resistance and discomfort, to release layers of stress and move toward greater overall health.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will be present during the Spinal Flow session.
During the session: Phones to be turned off or on flight mode in the treatment room. Ensure there are no alarms set during the scheduled treatment time, as this is unnecessarily distracting.
Group sessions: To respect the privacy and commitment each Client has made to their wellbeing, there is to be no conversation between clients when in the treatment room. Each Client is there for themselves and entitled to enjoy the warm, nurturing environment that has been created for their deep rest. For this reason, talking is to be kept to an absolute minimum to avoid causing distraction, disruption or unnecessary frustration during the session time. There is a short amount of time before and after time on the table when it is possible to quietly speak with the therapist is there is something you need to address. Otherwise, if you need further support or have questions, these should be addressed in a short Whatsapp message, voice note or email. We are here for you - just please not at the expense of other Clients.
